Is anyone else rooting for a Rams-Jaguars Super Bowl or is that just me?
On to Week 16, where the NFL will confuse us more on what’s a catch.
Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens (-13.5) — Indy has played Baltimore somewhat close and the Colts have not been really blown out other than last week. This is just a very boring game.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (+1.5) — So it was totally worth bringing Aaron Rodgers back for one game so he could absorb some vicious hits from the Carolina Panthers all in the name of a very unlikely playoff run, right? Mike McCarthy stinks.
Detroit Lions at Cincinnati Bengals (+3) — I either expected the Bengals to either play their tails off after hearing Marvin Lewis was out at the end of the year, or lay a complete egg. Since they’ve chosen to do the latter, the Lions take this one easy.
Los Angeles Rams at Tennessee Titans (+6) — As I mentioned last week, the Titans are not very good. The Rams should clobber them and save us from a Mike Mularkey-Marcus Mariota led team in the playoffs.
Los Angeles Chargers at New York Jets (+7) — Last week’s loss notwithstanding, the Chargers still have a pretty good shot of making the playoffs. They’ll win, but the Jets will make it close.
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5) — Both these teams have been wildly inconsistent over the past month and this seems like a 19-13 Kansas City loss.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (-9.5) — Christian McCaffrey was finally used in the way he should have been and there are still endless possibilities to utilize his skillset. This Panthers’ team will be a really tough out in the playoffs.
Denver Broncos at Washington Redskins (-4.5) — The Jay Gruden watch is back on. The Vance Joseph watch never turned off.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-5) — The Saints are not as good as I thought they were, and despite the Falcons not being a great defense like all of the other likely NFC playoff hopefuls, their speed matches up well with the Saints’ offense.
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots (-10) — This is the biggest game in Bills history since…?
Cleveland Browns at Chicago Bears (-6.5) — This line is way too damn high for a John Fox coached team in 2017. Besides, I do believe in a Christmas miracle..
Jacksonville Jaguars at San Francisco 49ers (+5) — The Jimmy Garoppolo train makes a stop back on earth this week.
Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) — Look out, Jason Garrett.
New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals (-4.5) — Who cares? But Bruce Arians should be retiring soon to spend more time with his family… which is what Eli Manning should do.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Houston Texans (+10.5) — Even without Antonio Brown, the Steelers may hang 35 on the Texans.
Oakland Raiders at Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5) — The Eagles may win this game, but there is a playoff game without Carson Wentz that is looming.
