After perhaps my best week of the season, I had one of my worst and have abandoned all hopes of getting to 0.500. However, it’s the stretch run in the NFL and these games are going to be awesome.
Once again, another mediocre week for me, which somewhat represents most NFL teams this year other than the Patriots, Steelers, Chiefs, Eagles, Rams, Vikings, and Saints.
I was going to use the trade deadline to deflect from my crappy overall season record, but then I realize half of the season is left so I’ll remain stupidly optimistic.
As a new wave of quarterbacks has joined the ranks in the NFL, the old guard seems to be dying down. Carson Palmer, Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger all seem to be beyond done.
After a mediocre week including the worst beat in the history of gambling with the completely nonsensical touchdown scored by Kansas City on Monday night, here is one thing that I am sure of in a season of uncertainty in the NFL: no one knows jack shit about the league this season.
