Today marks the two-weeks-away point from my favorite day of the year: the first round of the NFL Draft. This is also right about the time when we can really get a good sense of what teams might or might not do in the first round.

With just under four weeks left prior to the start of the 2017 NFL Draft, it was time to update the “Big Board” of top prospects in this year’s class.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret: if you’re an NFL enthusiast who’s tantalized by the question of who you’re favorite team might take in the 2017 NFL Draft, you should stop paying attention to Mock Drafts, and instead be paying attention to “Big Boards.”

I’ll let you in on a secret: I think mock drafts, for the most part, are pretty stupid. Most mock drafts you read are just armchair quarterback opinions from people ranging from so-called analysts to common schmos (like me).
